The detachment, which carries personnel and equipment enough to make it self-sustaining, expects to cover over 148,000 square miles of Canada's north-eastern frontiers with tri-camera photography and 20,000 square miles with vertical photography from bases at Goose and Fort Chimo on Ungava Bay.
