DescriptionCostume design from Alexandre Volkoff's film Casanova (1927). Woman wearing a blue gown with ruffles down the tiered hoopskirt, and trimmed with large yellow flowers with silver leaf design extending from bodice, and wrapping to bottom of skirt; ruffles edged with silver; white gloves elbow length; silver and gold tiara and earrings; pearl necklace. Designed using pencil, watercolour, gouache, silver paint, gold glitter on cream card. Annotated in ink and coloured pencil.
