Man in brown tunic with purple and gold trim; brown breeches with burgundy trim at knees; diaphanous cream coloured shirt; purple cloak with gold fringe and burgundy brocade lining; brown boots with gold and burgundy trim and burgundy heels and soles; purple scimitar at left side; gold helmet with salmon and burgundy plumes. Théâtre de Molière, 1936. Designed using pencil, gouache, watercolour, and metallic paint, on manilla paper, mounted on a cream card. Annotated in pencil and ink.
