Caught in a death trap between grinding ice floes ? trawler was found by Coast Guardsmen during ten weeks of action that led to the capture of another brand new enemy trawler. The scuttling of ? capture of ? Nazis and the destruction of two German weather radio stations. This ship was found deserted on Greenland's east coast. Coast Guardsmen seized large piles of ammunition and food supplies near the vessel which was four miles from the abandoned radio shanty. The Coast Guard landing party hiked more than ? miles through torturous twisting ice trails to ? ? to the ship which had been burned before ? ? coast guard combat cutter 'Northland' is in the background."
