This repository brings together published and archival collections relating to the rich history of Canadian Aboriginal military experience.
From the time of early European settlement through the Nile Expedition to recent peacekeeping Campaigns, Aboriginal Canadians from every part of Canada have been proud participants in Canada's military history. Throughout Canada's history, the participation of native peoples in military campaigns and events has often been a pivotal factor.
Aboriginal Veterans Day is commemorated on November 8.
